We went camping at blacksmith for the Miller reunion this year, it was so fun. We played in the creek, went on some 4-wheeler rides, played games & sat a round the fire and laughed!

Todd's 25th birthday

For Todd's 25th birthday on July 9 we had a surprise party on July 8th. I told him i was working and he had a softball game at 7, but told him it was changed to 6 and that he needed to be there at 5:30 for a team meeting. He never suspected a thing. Not even his family who is horrible at keeping secrets told him. He was very shocked when he showed up and we were all there yelling surprise! Everyone pitched in and got him a Play Station 3, I got him the new MLB 2010 game, and Cache got him a few packs of basketball cards. It was such a fun day we watched his game which they won and then headed up the canyon for the Miller reunion.

Easter 2010

This easter was so fun Cache loved to find the eggs and the cascerones and crack them over everybodies heads. He was so excited to wake up and see easter eggs all the way down the stairs. It took him about 10 minutes to get to his basket cause he kept opening all the eggs on the steps and eating all the jelly beans! We went to the fielding Easter egg hunt and he found the golden egg (mom spotted it before the hunt even started), he got a coloring book for the golden egg and a big bag of candy for all the other eggs. It was a really easy easter egg hunt since it snowed that morning but also really cold.
In the afternoon we went to aunt Tawnie's for a family easter egg hunt. Cache found the silver egg which had $5 in it & also found a lot of money eggs, he ended up getting about $16 and came home with way to much candy! We had such a fun easter with our families!

Softball

Cache loved to watch our softball games for about 3 minutes, he just mostly wanted to throw the softball and play with us.

Jazz Game

For valentines day this year I bought Todd and I Jazz tickets. Todd is an avid Jazz fan and I found about the last tickets they had for the Celtics game. Last year we all wrote poems for our husbands so this year my mom and I kept the tradition alive and at the end i my poem it said that we were going to the jazz game. Todd was so excited he was like a little kid he jumped up and hugged me so fast I thought I was gonna fall off my chair. Of course we got to the game the second the doors opened so Todd could see them warm up and get autographs. The game was great it was so exciting the Jazz won in the end and Todd and I had no voices when we left cause we had been screaming soo hard! Poor todd slept all the way home, we got home about 1 and he had to be up at 4 to go to work. They went easy on him and sent him home from work around 8, so he came home and slept for a few hours. We had such a fun time.

Ok this blog is in need of a serious update. Sorry i am a horrible blogger. I love to look at everyone elses blog but I never have time to update mine besides we don't have the internet right now either so that doesn't help the situation any. These updates range from christmas, valentines day, cache's birthday,easter and everything in between.

Mommy's 22nd birthday

For mommy's birthday on November 5th we went to eat at El Toro Viejo in Logan. All the family who lives close was there. It was really fun and the cake was great. She got a lot of great presents like a few pairs of shoes, gift certificates, and a cocoa latte. It was so fun I can't believe how young my mommy is!

Cache wasn't so sure about his first halloween. He was a little to warm in his bat costume. He fell asleep before we even got to any of our families house to trick or treat. We carved out a huge pumpkin and tried to take a picture of cache inside of it but when we stood him in it he freaked out I think it was to cold for his legs and feet. It was so fun for us to dress him all up.

Jackson Hole & Yellowstone

Well we went to Jackson and Yellowstone at the end of July trough the first of August. I finally just downloaded the pictures so I figured I better post them. I know that I am really bad at posting things. We camped in Jackson Hole for a few days and went around the town shopping. Jen and Tommy camped with mom, Ted, Todd, Cache, & I in Jackson and then had to leave when we went into Yellowstone. We saw some amazing things a ton of buffalo, a moose, a bunch of elk, and a baby black bear. It was so fun camping with our family and we were so glad that Todd was able to get off work and go with us. There were a few fires while we were in Yellowstone. We saw a flame starting up as we were driving back to our campsite, the next morning as we were driving to old faithful the mountain where the flame was, was completely burnt. We woke up one morning and there were huge elk footprints right next to our tent. We drove by a bunch of buffalo one day and one was about 2 inches away from moms door she tried to take a picture of it but was to scared it was gonna ram her so all she got in the picture was its horn. Right as we went to pull away from it it turned and looked at us and snorted we were all freaking out I guess the truck it wasa next to before us peeled away and made it mad. We went to artist canyon in yellowstone, it is also called the grand canyon of yellowstone, it was so amazing with all the waterfalls. It was so neat to see all the sites with our family.

California

So me, cache, mom & ted went to Concord, California at the first of July for a week and a half to watch gramma while my aunt virginia and uncle gil went to macanak island for their 50th wedding anniversary. For those of you who don't know my gramma welling moved to my aunts house last september because she needed to live with someone and so we moved in her house last year. It was so good to see her again since we haven't seen her for awhile. Todd couldn't go cause he had to work and couldn't get enough days off. We left the morning of July 3rd and got there that night around 9. It was a long ride especially from park valley through Nevada, just thinking about Nevada makes me tired it is trailers as far as the eye can see. I think we saw 1 house throughout the whole state, people even had 2 singlewide trailers put together to make a doublewide it was so funny. The drive was so pretty once we hit California. Cache was so good on the long drives. We spent the 4th with gramma and my aunt & uncle going to a parade and driving around the valley looking at all the different fireworks. We went to San Francisco, Jelly Belly factory, Sausalito,Green Valley & Stinson Beach. The road to the beach was about an hour one way and the windiest road I've ever been on, I've never gotten car sick until that road WOOF! Cache slept on the beach for more then 3 hours while me, britany and halli played in the water. (oh ya my sister britany and niece halli met us in california on the 5th) Cache loved the ocean and didn't even care when it splashed up to his arm pits. San Francisco was fun but it was so busy. We spent one whole day at pier 39 it was so fun seeing all the street performers. We spent a few days at Green Valley Country Club. We went to the driving range, golfing, and got some great golfing tips from my uncle. We missed todd's birthday while we were there but celebrated it when we got back. We missed todd so much. Cache would talk to him on the phone everyday and laugh when he heard his voice. It was so fun to see gramma and spend so much time with her. We miss her so much I wish we could still see her everyday. We love and miss you gramma

Cache's 1st swimsuit

We bought Cache his first swimsuit about a month ago and he finally used it last week when we went to California. He looks so cute in it, his hat is a little dorky but its funny. He is almost 4 months old now. He is getting so big he rolls over all the time, laughs, coos, fake coughs, and tries to sit up. He is so much fun we love him!

He's finally here yeah! Cache was born Thursday March 20th at 7:02 am. He weighed 7 lbs 14 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. The labor was great. We went to the hospital Wednesday night so they could start me on a cervix softener and then Thursday morning around 8 they were gonna start me but i didn't make it that long. They started giving me the softener around 8 pm Wednesday night and at about 3:30 my water broke but i was still only dialated to a 1 1/2. I started having contractions about 30 seconds apart after about 10 minutes of contractions they came and gave me an epidural. I was really surprised cause I thought they wouldn't give it to me til I was a 3 or 4 and I was still only a 1 1/2. Oh well I was very glad. I was kinda in and out because they had given me a sleeping pill so some things are kinda a blur. I guess when the anesthesiologist left I told todd that I was gonna marry him cause he took away the pain. So at about 4 am I was at a 4 and at 6 am I was at a 6. So the nurse told me she thought I would have him around noon and I would probably push for about an hour. Well about 6:45 I told todd to call the nurse cause it felt like he was gonna fall out. He laughed and said you've still got quite awhile but I'll call her. The nurse walked in and said she'd check me if I wanted. Sure enough she checked and he was right there. She hurry and grabbed the baby cart and ran out to get my doctor who was only there cause at 5:30 Cache's heart rate dropped a lot and stayed down for awhile so they called him and told him to come to the hospital thinking they would have to do a c-section. So he ran in and I pushed about 5 times and he was out, it was so nice. Neither of our mom's made it cause we called them at 6 and told them they better come even though it would be a few more hours or so we thought. They got there about 5 minutes after he was born. I could have a kid every day if it was always that easy. My labor lasted about 3 1/2 hours but I only felt it for about 10 minutes.

Cache is changing so much already his cheeks are starting to get a little chubby and he's staying awake longer now. Todd and I are so thankful for him he is such a blessing in our lives.
